To use our ECHOLINK node just go to 145.680MHz and with your DTMF pad just punch in
a few simple codes to tell our dedicated ECHOLINK system where you'd like to go! Some folks
have the mistaken idea that they have to have a computer to use our link....but that's so wrong!
Here at the WB9FHP-L the computer and internet connection are provided for you. Our ECHOLINK
system has an approximate range of 20-30 miles for base radio use and up to 15-20 miles mobile
range (depending on your mobile setup). So grab your mike and start punchin'! A list of some of
our favorite nodes and contacts is provided below. Also some of the common codes used in conjuction with testing your audio
and connecting to random nodes and lost connections. The WB9FHP-L makes it so easy to meet new
hams all over the world! Just remember to ID as you do in any normal QSO and JOIN THE FUN!
